Puerto Vallarta is such a beautiful city full of culture, lovely scenery and great food!
My first visit to P.V. was last year in November, and I picked the right time to travel because the city was in the midst of Puerto Vallarta Art Walk. The P.V. Art Walk was taking place for a week, and there were lots of art galleries open, art vendors on the street and beautiful art created with elements in nature, such as beach sand to create statues, figures, etc.
Here is an example of one of the sand sculptures created:
The artist below is using these micro beads, wax and a sewing technique to create the suns below:

I loved the various mediums used in the pictures below:
I loved the abalone incorporated into this piece below:
This brass sun was one of my favorites, and if I could afford it, I would have bought it:

Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta....you are missed and on my list of places to re-visit.
The title of this fashion editorial says it all: "Urban-chic Punk"
I will admit that i'm in love with her hair color and her green mascara. The layering of the green and orange tones in her hair really compliment each other and bring out the boldness and color of her green mascara. I'm sure my mother is thanking the heavens above that I have curly hair, or else you may see me roaming the streets with hair similar to this....I love it!
"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."
I photographed these beautiful roses recently:
I am often caught in a stare when it comes to the beauty and mystery of nature. Isn't it perplexing how a rose grows from the planting of a seed with the assistance of sunlight and water, plus a little t.l.c.? The rose grows, provides oxygen for us to breathe and feeds others....just amazing.
When is the last time you stopped what you were doing and took a few minutes out of your day to appreciate nature and your surroundings? I encourage you to do so today.
"We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls." - Mother Teresa
